We are thrilled to welcome our very own Chuck McKee to speak to the group for our November meeting!

Charles “Chuck” McKee, MBA, is the owner and Senior Principal Auctioneer and Appraiser of Bluegrass Auction, Appraisal & Realty, LLC. He brings more than 40 years of experience in real estate and valuation. Bluegrass Auction is a full-service estate and living-estate disposition firm with more than 27 years of experience in personal-property disposition and appraisal, as well as real estate sales through traditional listings and public auctions. The firm was recognized as a Top 250 Producer in real estate for 2024 and 2025.

This presentation examines the practical decisions and common pitfalls involved in selling real property in estates, trusts and living-estate transitions, including economic and marketing considerations as well as legal and logistical issues that can complicate a sale. Drawing on real-world experience, the discussion explores property evaluation, preparation, and timing, along with choosing between a traditional listing and a public auction based on the property and the objectives of the estate or owner.

This meeting will be held at DoubleTree Guest Suites located at 2601 Richmond Road. A delicious buffet lunch will be served. The cost of this meeting is $20 for members and $25 for guests.
