We are excited to have one of our own members speak to us again for our March meeting!  Taylor Stuckey is currently a sitting board member of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council.  He is a member of the Trusts and Estates Services Group at Stites and Harbison in Lexington. 

Income taxation of trusts varies among states. With proper planning, state income taxes can be minimized or even avoided. This presentation will cover frequently overlooked state income tax issues and planning techniques to address them.

Taylor's practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, business succession planning and elder law.  He also represents clients in charitable and nonprofit organization matters, business income tax planning and business formation.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in addition to his work as an attorney.

Taylor received his undergraduate degree in Accountancy at the University of Notre Dame and his masters in Accountancy at the University of Kentucky.  He also received his JD at UK's College of Law.  Prior to joining Stites and Harbison, Taylor was a Judicial Clerk fo rthe US Tax Court in Washington, DC.  Prior to law school, he was an Assurance Associate with Mountjoy Chilton Medley in Lexington.
