We are excited to start off the 2019-2020 program year with with a few of own members taking center stage! A roundtable of Trust Officers will be presenting on the topic of “Trust Document Language: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” They will share with you some of their own personal horror stories, as well as some things that have worked well, and the session will end with a Q&A session and discussion time for everyone in attendance.Our speakers bring with them experience totaling several decades - and several combined years of membership in the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council, as well. Participating in the roundtable are the following:Elizabeth (Betsy) Johns, Central Bank & Trust Co, Lexington, KY - Betsy is a Vice President and Personal Trust Officer at Central Bank. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Capital University Law School. She has over 20 years experience in Trust and Estate Planning. She is married to Immediate-Past President of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council, Kevin Johns.Jason Lee, Community Trust and Investment Company, Lexington, KY - Jason is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Services Manager with CTIC. A graduate of California State University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, he has over 15 years of experience. He is also a CPA. Originally from Roseville, CA, he now resides in Lexington and enjoys golfing, cycling and skiing in his spare time.Jeff Schriefer, Bank of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY - Jeff is Vice President and Senior Wealth Advisor with Bank of the Bluegrass. He is a graduate of University of Kentucky, Morehead State University (MBA) and the Cannon Financial Institute at Boston University (CTFA). His professional focus is on comprehensive financial planning, , estate and tax planning, and planned giving, among other areas.

Please note that if you come to the meeting without RSVP'ing, you may or may not be admitted entrance based upon the number of those who RSVP. Please also be sure to provide me with the name of any guest(s) you may be bringing with you so that a nametag can be prepared for them.
Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Monday, September 2nd. If you do not cancel your reservation, you WILL be billed for the regular meeting fee as the Council becomes financially obligated to cover costs.
