DESCRIPTION:\n \n***Don’t let this be your last communication from us…remember to RENEW your membership, if you haven’t already.*** \n  \nWhat:    “Trust Document Language:  the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” \nWho:      Trust Officer roundtable with Elizabeth Johns (Central Bank), Jason Lee (Community Trust and Investment Co) and Jeff Schriefer (Bank of the Bluegrass) \nWhen:    Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 11:30 AM-1:00 PM \nWhere:   Hilary J Boone Center, 500 Rose Street, Lexington, KY\n \n  \nCost: $15 for members/$25 for guests - Cash, Check and all major Credit Cards accepted at the door ~ or (*NEW*) pay online using PayPal.\n \n  \nGo to http://www.bgepc.org/events/event/18274 for more information or to register.\n \n  \nWe are excited to start off the 2019-2020 program year with with a few of own members taking center stage!  A roundtable of Trust Officers will be presenting on the topic of “Trust Document Language: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.”  They will share with you some of their own personal horror stories, as well as some things that have worked well, and the session will end with a Q&A session and discussion time for everyone in attendance. \n  \nOur speakers bring with them experience totaling several decades - and several combined years of membership in the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council, as well.  Participating in the roundtable are the following: \n  \nElizabeth (Betsy) Johns, Central Bank & Trust Co, Lexington, KY - Betsy is a Vice President and Personal Trust Officer at Central Bank.  She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Capital University Law School.  She has over 20 years experience in Trust and Estate Planning.  She is married to Immediate-Past President of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council, Kevin Johns. \n  \nJason Lee, Community Trust and Investment Company, Lexington, KY - Jason is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Services Manager with CTIC.  A graduate of California State University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, he has over 15 years of experience.  He is also a CPA.  Originally from Roseville, CA, he now resides in Lexington and enjoys golfing, cycling and skiing in his spare time. \n  \nJeff Schriefer, Bank of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY - Jeff is Vice President and Senior Wealth Advisor with Bank of the Bluegrass.  He is a graduate of University of Kentucky, Morehead State University (MBA) and the Cannon Financial Institute at Boston University (CTFA).  His professional focus is on comprehensive financial planning, , estate and tax planning, and planned giving, among other areas.\n \n  \nIt is IMPERATIVE that you RSVP by replying directly to this e-mail no later than Friday, August 30th, at 5:00 PM.
