Recent Kentucky Statutory Changes of Interest to Estate Planners
For our next meeting, which will be held on Monday, November 9th at 3:00 PM, we are very excited to welcome one of our very own to speak to us - Attorney Walter Morris of Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs. He will be presenting (via Zoom) a meeting entitled, "Recent Kentucky Statutory Changes of Interest to Estate Planners."
In this meeting, we will explore changes with regards to the Kentucky Community Property Trust Act, the Kentucky Uniform Power of Appointment Act, the Kentucky Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act, the adoption of additional provisions of the Uniform Power of Attorney Act and miscellaneous updates to the statute of limitations for filing claims against an estate, the decanting statute and the rule against perpetuities statute.
