DESCRIPTION:\nWe are excited to start off the 2018-2019 program year with Erica Horn, CPA, JD, as our speaker.  We are also thrilled to be able to meet this year at the Hilary J Boone Center, so be sure to join us and check it out!\n \n \n \nMs. Horn will be speaking on the topic of  “Kentucky Income and Sales Tax Update."  Things are changing at a rapid pace within our state, and she will share her expertise in helping navigate all of these changes.\n \n \n \nErica has over 30 years of professional experience and is currently the Associate Director of Tax Services at Dean Dorton. She has spent the majority of her career advising clients on state and local tax issues. She has represented Kentucky and multi-national companies in tax controversies before the Kentucky Department of Revenue, Kentucky Claims Commission (formerly Kentucky Board of Tax Appeals) and the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth. Through her advice and advocacy, Erica has saved her clients millions of dollars in Kentucky taxes.\n \n \n \nIt is IMPERATIVE that you RSVP by replying directly to this e-mail no later than Monday, September 3rd, at 12:00 PM. Please note that if you come to the meeting without RSVP'ing, you may or may not be admitted entrance based upon the number of those who RSVP.
