DESCRIPTION:\nWe are thrilled to welcome back Mr. Jim Worthington, of Worthington Law Firm in Louisville, KY, to speak to us for our final meeting of the 2017-2018 program year!  \n \n \n \nJim practices all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration, including business succession and tax planning, as a solo practitioner in Louisville, Kentucky. After starting his own law practice in 2010, he earned an LL.M. in Taxation with high honors from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2011. He was elected an ACTEC Fellow in 2014, is the past chair of the KBA Probate section, the current chair-elect of that group, and is a member of the KBA Probate section’s legislative committee. He has experience as a trust officer with a major regional bank, as a lawyer with one of Kentucky’s most distinguished law firms, and as a partner in a small firm in Durham, North Carolina.
